My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Oh my goodness, you’ve caught the cold weather disease, snow.
I’m sure it was fun for you to see the snow. It is a gorgeous painting, medium! ;)
We have no snow on the ground this morning, however it is very cold.

This spring as it comes bursts up in bonfires green,
Wild puffing of emerald trees, and flame-filled bushes,
Thorn-blossom lifting in wreaths of smoke between
Where the wood fumes up and the watery, flickering rushes.
I am amazed at this spring, this conflagration
Of green fires lit on the soil of the earth, this blaze
Of growing, and sparks that puff in wild gyration,
Faces of people streaming across my gaze.

Snowing again! Yikes! We get these intense flurry actions, then as rapidly as they begin, they end.
I suppose you’re working on a suntan. What’s that? LOL

As a matter of fact I am working outside today. How did you know that? Stay warm and safe.

Here I am back from the Hinter Lands. Oh, bitter cold wind, snowing hard, not much accumulation on the ground.
So glad to be home.
Had a wonderful dinner and visit with grandson #1 and his parents.

Did you have a good outing today?
I just returned from a super day out with friends who both cook like blazes. Feather, they subscribe to at least two gourmet cooking magazines. I couldn't stop eating. Oink!

I did indeed! I baked scalloped potatoes last night for today. My daughter baked a ham, several veggies, and a delicious dessert.
I did not over eat, just to uncomfortable for me to do so. However, I did not leave the table hungry. :)
She sent some of the ham home with me and the remainder of the potatoes, along with dessert. I made out like a bandit.
So glad you had a grand time.

It has been a long day. Good night everyone.

Soft the dawn rosed the sky
as words welcomed Easter nigh
We enjoined our prayers to fly
and ended on a shared soft sigh

Unlike you, I knew I wasn't going to get food this good for a while. I over ate. I ate until I couldn't eat anymore.
