My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Delicious.
I smelled it while I was outside late today..came in and opened up the sliding door by my computer..hoping I would need to close it soon. ..and I did. The majority of rain , however, is moving from the south to west of me. I am grateful to have any rain.

You're Welcome!
I was going to post this one as a good morning to all, but figured I would ruin everyones day, so I have chosen to shoot yours down. ROTFLO.
Oh the cow webs are thick this morning. ;)

Written on Word for the Day Thread.
There's a lot of codswallop out there these days
it gets really thick on the political page
politicians wade in codswallop, some of them knee deep
trying their best to look tip top and squeaky clean,
but codswallop sticks to their shoes like glue
makes all they say come out like goo.
A good word this codswallop it rings like a bell
it has strong reference to bulls**h as well,
as the dems on Capitol Hill extoll, codswallop reigns,
with hearings and blame.

Oh the cow webs are thick this morning. ;) Woke up early for what ever reason. I guess it is the anxiety/thrill/excitement/grief or whatever of travelling back to California. Coffee is kind of working. Nice picture. LOL.

LOL, well, my night was one of doing battle with the sleepless dragon. Wouldn't it be great to just climb on board a time machine and wake up when the trip is over?

The teacher gave me an A++ for the codswallop poetry.

Shades of Jules Verne. LOL. I would love to fast forward a lot of things; trips to the doctor/dentist, etc.

Yup, I think there would be less wear and tear on some of us creaky travelers. Every time I move I hear my joints creak. LOL
To: Soaring Feather
I know that feeling. I can't even sneak up on a glass of water.

I learned this poem when I was a child, I have always remembered the first two lines.
Robin, Sir Robin, gay, red-vested knight,
Now you have come to us, summer's in sight;
You never dream of the wonders you bring,
Visions that follow the flash of your wing;
How all the beautiful By-and-by
Around you and after you seems to fly!
Sing on, or eat on, as pleases your mind,
Well have you earned every morsel you find.
