I did two things today. I cut back dead twigs of perennials (daisies, mums, black-eyed susans, etc.) and also pruned a few roses.
The other thing I did was pull up sprouts of junk trees (I get a lot of these because of the birds.) Due to all of the rain, I could pull them up easily.

Due to all of the rain, I could pull them up easily. Good idea. Not much rain here, but the soil is so muddy I should be able to pull up a 20 foot tree if bear hug it low and lift . LOL
Speaking of bears....the animal activists...I hope the little babe polar bear makes a list and never forgets..

I'm one of those who think we should make glass parking lots and lawns anywhere we must in any Arab land. AND I think we should lift a couple more mountain tops off their stands like we did in Aphfganistan. That would make them understand some things that are important in Christian Lands. We do not give in to terror tactics.

I think it should not be killed just because it's being raised by a human...as the activist's think..

I have just returned from an event featuring Congressman Tom Tancredo.
He was late arriving due to being delayed in DC by the Iraq vote on the floor of the House today, and the typical airport delays in Chicago.
He's pro life, pro guns, a strong supporter of secure borders and anti amnesty. I think we could do a lot worse. But I seriously doubt he's a contender.
I met a Gulliani staffer there who said The Mayor will be in Des Moines in late April. I will try to go hear what he has to say.
