I forgot, Tennessee could have won if they just hit some of their free throws so it is hard to place blame on the refs.
I don't know about that, I would say as much as Tennessee was pushing Buckeyes in the back and not getting called for fouls there was room for more fouls to be called on Tennessee. Plus there were a few no foul fouls called on the Buckeyes as well.
Tennesse has a 20 point lead, no one to blame but themselves for not putting it away.
Tennessee hasn't been a good free-throw shooting team all year and it's not something they work at much in practice. Chris Lofton is very solid and he's won some close games at the line, including their win over Virginia. But I knew that sooner or later their poor performance at the line would bite them in the butt.
Ohio State will get theirs starting at 3:30 pm CDT.
That's Saturday @ 3:30 pm CDT
The reason the buckeyes got more free throws was because the drive the paint more than Tennessee. A perimeter team like Tennessee isn't gonna get that many foul calls. The 4th foul on Oden was crazy. But the team that has a beef about bad refs is Southern Illinois. Kansas was given 2 points in the first half when they dunked a ball clearly after the shhoting time clock went off.
