I can definitely understand the resentment the people of Cleveland have towards the elitist Hall Of Fame board members not wanting to have the induction ceremonies held in the Hall itself.
Where's the Cleveland City Council stand on this? Don't they know revenue when they see it?

I have no idea, but what can they do?. Cleveland is home to the Cleveland Orchestra, one of the top 3 or 4 Symphony Orchestras on the planet, and as far as I know, they are on their own as far as marketing themselves to the rest of the world.
