That looks more like Sharkey territory. Here's a visual for you...at least for those of you who have seen the newest Pirates of the Carribean movie. Picture Sharkey up yonder in tundra world on his capsized boat. Flash to the opening scene of Captain Jack.

Sorry. Couldn't help myself. That was an inspiring picture.

Don't worry.....we went boating in our ice breaker yesterday........sure is hard to break.....

Now that I've broken a path, before it freezes over, I may go sailing in the narrow little channel between the icebergs today.

Funny thing, my photo shop mental powers just keep seeing blue water, warm weather, green trees, and nothing but summer.

At least that's what the southern cousins would have us believe........

Hey you two, do me a favor... if you happen to see summer out there, will you send it up to the north? It is having a problem establishing itself here this year. Come to think of it, it had a problema last year too.

Can someone please put a bag over AlGore's head? He speaks with snaked forked tongue.

Pretty one, Gran. The oldest explorer records of New Hampshire record snow still left in the mountains in July, must have been bad winters back then.

Now that's what I would call a "Body Bag". I wonder if my serger could handle the weight of two of them together? Nahhhhh...don't want to test it for that dirt bag. ;)

Isn’t Nully the only one that lives near Rio Linda?

Oh...I think I’ve been up on Mt Washington in the summer when there has been bits of snow there. Another time it broke the record for being so hot. I don’t know which is worse, lol.

Al worked up on top for quite a few summers when he was a kid. One summer he helped put the Helo Pad up there. Will be going up real close to it the first of August for his family reunion. Most of our kids and grands will be going too, so hope we get some good weather. People will be coming from all over the country. Will spend a few days gazing at the sight of Mt Washington and the train choo-chooing up it. ;)

I loved the pics you posted, but never got on to tell you so. Looks like you had a great spot, and a nice family outing....and it looked warm...lol.

Don't be silly, Gran. It's just a delusion. The global warming is causing it. I don't mind the delusions. They've kept me from needing my AC so far this "summer."

Al Gore is an idiot.

Ratboy just broke his toe trying to kick me.

Missed me, missed me! Neener, neener, neener!

He got the chair a pretty good lick, though...

Dark Clouds on the European Horizon (Moosblim invasion)

What ails them??

immigration is supplying the continent’s work force

Frankly in many cases, Euros are lazy and do not want to do the hard labor that immigrants are willing to do.

I see it every time I go over there.

Siestas, beaches, partying, one month vacations, etc. is what Euros like best.

Freezing here (imo)....not a very warm summer day, that’s for sure! That pic sums it up....

Hope you’ve been having a good day, despite the brisk weather.
