DYING

Should have read: I am DYING in the dungeon....

Dutifully redacted.

To: sweetliberty; y'all; All

Just talked to him.

He’s sharing a room that has a bathroom with a chronically wet floor. Something he’s better without as he lacks the strength to get up should he fall.

Right now his ‘roommate’ has 7 visitors crowded in. They’re fairly quiet, just as well, as his Spanish isn’t up to following an intense conversation.

Still scheduled for an angiogram tomorrow, he’s not all that thrilled with the hospital.

The bed is uncomfortable. The hospital is doing a terrible job with his blood glucose. They do not have Byetta in their pharmacy, nor Humalog, only insulin. His blood glucose has been running >500, they checked while we were talking and it was down to 389.

He likes the food, though...

In short, he’s cranky, grumpy and annoyed. IOW, he is doing better ;^P

That was going to be my comment if you hadn't made it. Glad he is doing better.

Now I'm gonna go take my tired butt back to bed. Night.

*Great sigh of relief*

We are finally back to the up North place........aaaaaah the sound of waves, the woods, the pleasures of Narnia.

Off to set up various sails and go play......

Did you get stuck on the MTA?

"And she never returned,
No she never returned
And her fate is still unlearned.
She may ride forever neath the streets of Boston
She's the jag that never returned"

No, I drive into town.

I’m on the phone all day trying to reach my doctor who prescribed me a sulfa related drug that will kill me but my sugar is so high, I might as well take it, anyway.

To: no one in particular

You can live a perfectly
normal life if you accept
the fact that your life will
never be perfectly normal.

I've only got 3 or 4 lives left and medicos act like they're on quaaludes, when in fact, it's probably something "better" while diabetes is destroying my innards.

Makes me hungry.
