Just speculating. Following the trail. Ray Martino WAS a family friend and appeared on her show at some point. They said that Martino gave Daniel the name of the PI. I would suppose there's a call FROM HOWARD to AT LEAST get Daniel's things out of there. I have no doubt there was some communication between Howard and Martino. Howard needed "script" material on Daniel because of the lack of communication.

Martino seems to have kept the PI thing private...And I'll bet Howard screamed at Martino for not telling him about the PI.

Did you remember that HKS said on the stand that Martino and HKS's mother went to look at burial plots for Daniel in LA? They would do the leg work, and email pictures of the plots to ANS and HKS in the Bahamas.......
