Probably. I wouldn't put it passed her. But their was one friend who was interviewed by someone, she was by phone, so her face wasn't shown, but they asked her if any of Anna's accusations were true and she said "whatever was disclosed to me privately by Anna i won't divulge, let's just say that there is something about Anna's step-father and mother, step-father". (i'm paraphrasing, BUT that last part where she said step-father but left out the mother part i remember distinctly. It was kind of a signal that the mother wasn't really the culprit. She was involved in some way but it appeared as tho this friend didn't hold Virgie responsible)

That's a VERY good point. They pulled this crap on my brother and also gave him meds that whacked him out. One day I talked to him and asked if he was taking his meds. He said no...And I said I didn't think so because he sounded like himself...the brother I knew for 40 years!!

That had occurd to me, but I was thinking Alex Goen who is a so called hypnotist.

Could be, its hard to know what goes on in families, nothing would surprise me anymore.

I remember my older brother left to live with grandparents when he was 16, my folks wanted to get him away from his crowd in HS. But what that did was only further distance them from each other. (my parents were strict and churchgoing, no alcohol,ect)

To this day all involved say it was a mistake, because my brother for decades still looked at my dad thru the eyes and memories of a teenager. By letting him go, and not going thru that rough patch, working thru that tunnel, none were able to see that light at the end.

My grandparents ended up just coddling him, and he got worse and was allowed to get away with everything! It wasn't until his 30's that he got back on track with us all. (he's great now, as a matter of fact he has been working in Iraq for the last 3 years)

It could be that Anna was allowed to roam around, have sex to early obviously, had no discipline at all, no money, no ambitions, education, drugs and alcohol. To many strange men around a lovely young girl.

Anyway, I remember her agent saying that her Hollywood people didn't want her "white trash" family around, and she was probably ashamed of them when she got famous.

So sad for all involved. (sorry for this long reminiscing,lol)
