It’s so funny how they keep going back to she was the Queen. Howie did everything for her. Not because he was submissive. If he was a submissive personality we wouldn’t be seeing the legal wranglings that we are seeing now. He did it so that he could have total control and she would be dependent on him. I’m curious..what drugs was Anna on when she checked into the Betty White Center. I’m sure her drug use had escalated since HKS appeared on the scene.

I’m curious..what drugs was Anna on when she checked into the Betty White Ford Center .

Smith checked into the Betty Ford Clinic in 1995 for addiction to prescription painkillers and alcohol. While she said she was rehabilitated, she continued to be known for loopy behavior.

Stevie Nicks on Anna Nicole and Britney

March 27, 2007

STEVIE NICKS gets candid in a revealing new interview with ET, going on the record about what it was like to be under the influence of Klonopin, the same powerful tranquilizer -- along with nine other drugs -- that were found in ANNA NICOLE SMITH's autopsy report.

The singer was shocked to learn the drug connection between herself and the late Playboy Playmate, but in retrospect, she says the effects were apparent.

"I can bring to mind visions of Anna Nicole and think, well there you go," she says. "It's called a tranquilizer for a reason. When you take enough Klonopin you really don't care about anything."

For Stevie, getting off the drug became a matter of life and death.

"If I hadn't gone into the hospital when I did, I would absolutely be dead now," she says.

During FLEETWOOD MAC's performance at BILL CLINTON's 1993 inaugural bash, the singer admits she was on the drug.

Several months later, Stevie checked herself into rehab.

"That wasn't like the 28-day thing," she recalls. "That was 47 long days. I was in a lot of pain. I thought I was totally going to die."

Of course, Klonopin isn't the only drug she took. She had such an addiction to cocaine that it burned a hole in her nose. She got treatment for that at the BETTY FORD Center.

Anna Nicole - The Drug Factor

Perscription drugs were Anna Nicole’s lifelong companion.

The just-released Florida autopsy has confirmed what was suspected all along — an accidental overdose from prescription drugs caused Anna Nicole’s death.

Anna Nicole’s substance abuse goes way back to a 1989 drunk driving arrest in Texas when she was just 21. By the mid-1990’s, her problems reached a whole new level.

In 1994, Anna Nicole was rushed to the hospital after cops said she mixed alcohol with prescription drugs. Just a year later Anna Nicole was seen, slumped in a wheelchair, checking into the Betty Ford clinic after what she said was a bad reaction to two prescription medications.

Anna Nicole’s former bodyguard Pierre Dejean told INSIDE EDITION that she took prescription drugs in alarming doses, which sometimes resulted in rage-filled phone calls from the model.

The bodyguard showed INSIDE EDITION what he said was one of Anna Nicole’s actual prescriptions - one for the painkiller Demerol, as well as bottles he said once contained Anna Nicole’s painkillers, Lorcet and Vicodin.

As the years went on, Anna Nicole insisted that she’d turned her life around, repeatedly denying that she was abusing drugs. But her antics aroused suspicions.

When INSIDE EDITION spoke to Anna Nicole backstage at the 2004 American Music Awards, she clearly appeared disoriented, and her bodyguard and Howard K. Stern held her up as she walked around.

Now Anna Nicole’s autopsy confirms once and for all just how terrible a role perscription drugs played throughout her troubled life.

You make an excellent point!
