>>>If King Eric owned it, why was it at a yacht brokerage in Miami - King Eric was "like family" to ANS. That doesn't make sense.>>>
So either A) They (HKS and ANS) came all the way from the Bahamas to get a boat in King Gibson's name. Or B) They came all the way from the Bahamas to transfer a boat from the name of a person who was already in the Bahamas. C) They (no need for ANS or HKS in this case) came all the way from the Bahamas to purchase a boat in the name of King Gibson. Either way, something fishy is going on.
In other words, Howard and Anna didn't HAVE to go to Florida at all. They BOTH had seen the boat before.
Brooks doesn't seem to be right on top of all the case details, just some of them - so I don't think he asked the right question.
King Eric might have thought he did mean some boat in the Bahamas, such as the catamaran on which the commitment ceremony took place, e.g. HKS/ANS went around telling lots of people they were going to buy things that they then didn't.
I also hope he didn't get mixed up on the "captain" of the boat, as some media did. Just means HKS didn't know how to operate the boat himself. King Eric as captain, just means he is in charge of operating the boat at sea, not that he owns it.
