Check out post 1051. And there are more - soon.
"Aside from a small bruise that Perper said was due to a fall in the bathroom earlier in the week, he said he was unsure if the stomach flu that Smith had been suffering from all week which on Wednesday had reportedly caused her fever to spike to 105 degrees contributed to her death.
My point is, I think, that the info about the 105 fever - like many of the facts we have read about - which are part of the timeline of Anna's last week of life - are not consistently reported by the parties interviewed.
Just adds more questions - like much of what we have heard/read.
Again, the authorities (Seminole Police Dept?) were originally going to have a news conference the Friday after she died. They never did. It was cancelled with no good explanation.
My bet would be the Stern team persuaded the police that such a news conference would be "hard on the family" so let's just not do it - and since it was not held - a lot of these details that we are having to try to track down from news media - that don't all match up - could have been nailed down at that news conference. I don't think that is what the Stern team wanted. I think the Stern team is very content for there to be confusion about the details of that week and that last day.
And with that - conking out. Will check in tomorrow morning. Thanks for all your very good links.
