Believe me if Daniel was using and/or addicted to methadone, the PI, was well as everyone else would have known it. Unfortunately, I've been acquainted with people who had to take methadone (to get off heroin or other VERY addictive painkillers) and it's not a drug that you can 'hide' very well. So unless, he had been taking it for quite a while, the effect on Daniel would have been obvious. It's possible that ANS or HKS were both so used to taking it to 'make themselves feel better' that one or both of them thought 'one pill' (or dose, whatever it was) would do no harm. However, considering how young Daniel was and if he had NEVER been exposed to that type of drug (and if he was underweight/anorexic??), it is possible that a normal dose for ANS?? or HKS or any adult would have been lethal to Daniel...
Does it have a taste say with orange juice where Daniel would have picked up a glass with it and not known....and combined with his other drugs...killed him. What I am saying is someone spiked a drink that he took?
tabor...sorry bc I know this is an older post, but I did want to say that I really appreciate your open mind and the way you post on this board. It is very admirable in my opinion, and I actually want to thank you for keeping me on my toes. I will admit that I have been against HKS WAY BEFORE Daniel or ANS died, so I had an opinion before this started. Also, so far, my opinion has NOT changed about HKS yet, but I do really appreciate a poster like yourself who will remind me to look at ALL of the facts and not just 'try and convict' a person without all of the evidence. That said, I still have SERIOUS concerns about HKS and his presence if not, involvement, in two deaths...meaning Daniel and ANS...but I am NOW trying to keep my mind a little more open since I have read your posts...so thank you!
It's funny that you would ask that, bc when I first heard about Daniel's death, I automatically thought that he might have woken up thirsty and grabbed his Mom's drink by accident, which contained methadone. Until this case, I had only heard of methadone in 'liquid form'. I've never heard of methadone in a pill form, but I guess they give it in liquid form to the addicts so it's easier to monitor...ie..you can't exactly 'pocket' a cup of drugs, as easily as you could a pill...BUT IIRC, one of the ME's (not sure if it was Wecht) said that Daniel's body contained methadone in the PILL form...I'm not sure, so if anyone knows for sure, let me know...

I don't understand why its prescribed, how often its prescribed,and what I really don't understand is that with my very bad back and neck with proof positive of severe osteoarthritis, that I can't get a Rx for anything, and even my silly muscle relaxant was just for one month.....
how so many of these people get docs to order all these drugs for them is beyond me.....I guess I'll have to practice at being whiney ...LOL
No, it isn't LB's father in the pic. I caught a glimpse of him in the background when someone interviewed LB at his hotel in the Bahamas. His dad has grey hair and his wife is blonde and looks a somewhat younger.
LB was seated and the camera briefly panned up some stairs in the background where his father and step-mother were standing.
They didn't show them long enough that allowed for remembering features to provide a detailed description, but the guy in the picture is definitely not Mr. Birkhead.

I had no opinion regarding Howard and I cannot recall having heard his name until after Daniel's death. I have tried to come up with positive things in reference to him but all I can come up with is that at least on some occasions he dresses in a suit proper for appearing in court and he managed somehow to graduate from college, dim though he sounds. I am sure there are a few more trivial points. Sometimes he reminds me of a Rev. Jim Jones wannabe. I have seen no FACTS that point to Howard as a nice guy. Instead, they point to the opposite.
This thread here is far friendlier than some others. On another one that dealt with Jenna Bush, it turned very nasty. One example: a poster was "zotted" (wrongly, in my opinion) because she, like you, had posted on only one subject. I find nothing wrong with that.

Where you heard this was yet another, heavily edited segment of ET footage. ET is once again, using interviews done with the "players" (Birkhead, Ford Shelly, G. Ben Thompson) months ago and taking their quotes out of context. Last night the new ET tactic is to lay foundation for Daniel to have "stolen" his mother's meds.
Howard is getting very desperate. And he's taking a lot of people, and their reputations.......with him.
Could me. HKS is going to look like a real snake, selling those pictures now, isn't he? I'll be just glad if Ford just tanked the market value of those pictures.
I saw that interview. It was on H&C or Greta (can't remember which).
I just finished catching up with yesterday's posts. Someone asked where in the timeline after Daniel died would the opportunity present itself to take the picture. Maybe it was before ANS was aware of his (not)breathing status and alerted everyone.
He was observed by personnel helping ANS to the bathroom at 6:20AM and dead at 9:30AM (ish). He would have to be OK enough to assist her - she probably went back to sleep - whatever was administered would have to take effect - the picture taker was either aware and poised to click at time of death and before discovery or the pic is of dead Daniel being removed on a gurney. There is no way it could have happened during the bedlam resulting from discovery.

Barth's defamatory opinions on Virgie Arthur are based solely on what she has been told by HK$. Brainwashing is not relevant in a custody case - facts are.
If Barth were handling the Bahamian custody issue(which she is not) her only responsibility is to prove that HK$ has the background, character references, income and experience for custody/guardianship of an infant versus Virgie's qualifications.
I am not convinced that Barth has made her point. She has not provided proof of HK$' fitness to nurture or raise a child. To allude to a family member's possible injury with a firearm that was probably Virgie's is abominable.
For Virgie's attorneys to question HK$' proximity to the death scenes of Virgie's daughter and grandson is completely appropriate. To question his involvement in providing addictive drugs and failure to seek prompt medical attention for two persons in mortal danger is both appropriate and necessary, when the fate of another innocent family member is at stake.

I have to confess lately she is toned down her um like a horse prancing unruly around.
She has calmed down and the ole NG is cool coming through.
So I don't get to see her often due to lent no tv with the Man of the house but I do go prepare saleds and turn her on.
