The person who prescribed these drugs was not necessarily at fault... Except KE said that she KNEW that Anna sometimes took extra. If KE knew that, then Anna should have been treated like an addict....The drugs should have been under lock and key and administered under supervision.
Well - to be truthful - I have wondered why Stern did his deed in Florida - instead of on the boat in international waters or even back in the Bahamas. Like some here have speculated about.
Or why didn't he wait until his official "marriage" to Anna?
Who knows?
Maybe he just saw his opportunity and took it.
Maybe he couldn't wait any longer because of the pending Daniel inquest.
Maybe he figured his name was on the birth certificate of Dannielynn and that would give him all the control he needed.
I don't think it can be called "accidental" though - especially if he injected her with demerol on top of all the other drugs she apparently had ingested.

I thought it was very unusual, and that it denoted that he must not have much contact with her. If you noticed, when Anna did that, the baby always smiled.

That is so very sad...children and animals can usually sense when a person is not friendly. I didn't see the video you mentioned, but I do remember that someone involved in this mess (it was either a friend or relative of ANS) stated that HKS didn't even LIKE kids! I can't remember who said it, but it seems like it might have been her brother (if she has one). He was pointing out that HKS's only interest in DL was monetary.

Yes, you're right. Kids usually "light up," when they like someone. She looked at him like she never saw him before. I was wishing that someone else here saw that video,too. I forgot to mention it right after it aired.
I heard them talking about this movie on Showbizz Tonight or one of these celeb shows. The producer, or someone involved in it, said he'd had the movie in the works for a while, but sped it up after ANS death. He interestingly said since his movie is based on what is publicly known about Anna's life, he doesn't have to pay for any rights to use materials.
I thought I did read that, but wasn't positive, so didn't mention it. Thanks.
I'm doing catch-up, so if someone already mentioned this, disregard. Ford, when basically asked if Howard (maybe Anna, too)may have murdered Daniel, he did say he thought Howard would not have intentionally hurt Daniel.
I'm curious about the pills in Daniel's pant pocket, too. Ford just assumed he flushed them down the toilet. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. If Daniel took something he already had on him, that would seem to put Stern in the clear. We'll never know what those pills were unless Howard confirms it and knew what they were. And, if Ford was being truthful. He sounded like he was, but who knows? All conjecture and nothing more.
Well, and I thought I was pretty certain the scenario involved a different pair of blue jeans from the pair Daniel had on when he died and that this happened at Horizons.
But then when there were questions about the abrasions on Daniel's pelvis and hip areas, the first thing I thought of was that the jeans pockets are in those areas - and if someone happened to frantically go through them for evidence to get rid of, they might have done it too roughly.
There may have been objects, like keys or keychains or whatever that might've scratched the skin underneath. So, I changed my mind back to allow the possibility that the pills were found in the jeans Daniel had on - while he had them on.
The pockets might have also been searched frantically and there weren't any pills in them - but another pair back at the house did have them.
I just don't know where Ford was when this happened. We first heard Horizons - then later heard it was at the hospital. I just don't know!

He knows that Demerol was what was injected at the found injection site because it must have not spread throughout the muscle under the injection site...
Demerol level would show up on drug screens and could be detected in tissue at the injection site.

That would indicate an accidental or intentional intravenous or intra-arterial injection. When giving an injection, after inserting the needle the syringe plunger should be pulled back to test if the needle tip is in muscle tissue or vessel. If this procedure was not done, 75 mg. of Demerol directed quickly into the circulatory system would most likely lead to respiratory depression and death if CPR was not immediately performed.
(meaning it did not spread throughout body because she died shortly after it was injected)
The demerol would have spread via the circulatory system within minutes.
They suspect that 75ml (75cc) of Demerol was injected in to her. 75ml of Demerol is not that high of a dose for an adult - typical dosage for a Demerol injection is 50ml to 100ml.
The dosage is milligrams (mg) not cc's or ml's.. huge difference.
Syringe evidence, or lack of, could prove CRUCIAL to the case if toxicology screens indicate presence of Demerol in levels incompatible with any found evidence of recent oral ingestion.
