Let's see if Toespi can't spice things up for everyone..............my heart goes out to Howard Stern, what a guy, gave up his legal practice to babysit ANS. He deserves every penny she ever gave him.

I think Larry was convinced that he had to take the fight to the Bahamas. Opri can't help him there. Opri was all into getting HKS for fraud.....Larry is into getting a paternity test.

It does bother me that Opri came out and said something about "unethical" things happening. Actually, she should have said nothing. It was up to Larry if he wanted to announce anything or not.

Since the beginning of Larry Birkhead saga on ET and other gossip shows... way back when. (Before Daniel or anything) I first thought he was in for the money. This was when Anna was first preggers. I felt sorry for him like a guy that has been used and dumped and hurt in the process. The "poor me" photo ops. Remember the photo of him on the street corner with all the Christmas presents for Dannielynn (long faced and sad)? I knew he was sincere, but really in for the fame or whatever it was. She had obviously dumped him and he was trying to get back at her. They seemed to have a very immature relationship. In that email from Laurie Payne she complains that when they are in KY he ignores her and treats her like doo-doo. I felt Ms. Opri was in for the money option in the long run. (Before any of these tragic events)
Then the deaths happened. It changed the playing field and all the cast of characters suddenly had different motives and different memories.I really hated HKS then! I felt sorry for LB in a different way and wanted him to have the baby. Team Birkhead all the way!
But after Deborah Opri leaves I start to look at other what if's.... While on TMZ reading one of the comments there was someone who wrote that they know that LB has another child back home. He probably doesn't. But something has happened, and right ... something stinks.

It's not a given that there's going to be any money in the long run. If Anna had stayed sober and taken all the opportunities that she was given and not been a lazy drug addled floozy she could have made some money on her own. Money that didn't involve selling pictures of your dead son and your newborn child. As for Birkhead...we all have opinions and I respect yours but I still think he's the best of the bunch and if the child is his then he needs the child. Also he could have been in and out of the sitution months ago if ANS and HKS had just given him the test. He's done a great job of getting public opinion on his side and I don't blame him one bit for using any means necessry. Someone finally needed to stand up to ANS and use the same tricks that she used against her. As for ANS whining about how he treated her in Kentucky maybe he treated her the way she needed to be treated. Like a human being. Maybe he didn't cater to her every whim maybe he was remembering what it was like to be a man and to be in a relationship. In that Bravo show when relating their relationship he admits they fought like cats and dogs. Like the War of the Roses. Maybe that's what she needed someone to lay down ground rules for her. This woman was a narcissist. Making people get tattoes of her...making people call her by nicknames..making people watch movies that she liked...even making them say the same phrase every night to her...Good night my sweet Anna. Larry should have ditched her and the drama long ago but he said when it was the two of them it wasn't much drama. It was just when everyone else got involved.

I was miffed about the Opri thing but I think she was fired and is being a snit by trying to insinuate it was her decision. They were getting nowhere in California and someone on the original thread even said Opri was screwing up by ignoring the Bahamas and that was weeks ago.

Birkhead Says He Sees 'Good Things'

The photographer who claims to have fathered Anna Nicole Smith's baby, Larry Birkhead, says he feels "really good" about the Bahamas custody hearing.

"I feel really good. What seems like has taken months and months in California basically is going pretty quick here in the Bahamas. I feel good about that. I think good things are coming pretty soon," Birkhead told U.S. TV's "Access Hollywood" after the hearing adjourned.

Nancy Grace - Friday 3/16/07 - highlights

REF to Tuesday 3/20/07 in Bahamian Court Date

GRACE: Back to Jean Casarez with Court TV news. She`s there in the Nassau, Bahama area. Jean, I want to clarify something. We`re not expecting the DNA test to be done on Tuesday. It`s my understanding that on Tuesday, they will choose between two experts, two DNA experts.

CASAREZ: What I know about DNA in general is that here in Bahamas, the results take three to four days to come back. Now, I don`t know where the testing`s done, but I know it takes three to four days. So if we use that as a gauge right there, I don`t think you would have results on Tuesday.

GRACE: OK. Our sources have been a little unclear, but what we are hearing is that a judge has ordered DNA, that they`re all going to come back to court on Tuesday to choose between DNA experts. Now, this may be difficult for Birkhead to do. He`s the photographer claiming to be the dad. He no longer has a lawyer. (DUH NANCY... He has a Bahamian Atty)

GRACE: Doesn`t he still have a Bahamian attorney?

CASAREZ: He does. But you know, Nancy, I spoke directly with Debra Opri today on the telephone, and she told me, first off, there is an attorney/client privilege that I cannot allow to be exposed at this point. So what I will tell you will be brief. But she told me that she was asked to do things that she couldn`t ethically do. And she said that it had to do with Howard K. Stern`s growing influence. And she`s very concerned. And she said that the last words that she told Larry was, If you are asked by Howard K. Stern to not have an attorney anymore -- and I think she`s talking about California, in the United States -- don`t listen to him. Get an attorney.

GRACE: OK.

CASAREZ: Go get an attorney. And I think the relationship had been severed at that point in time, when she said that, so she felt free to tell me. Now, Larry Birkhead got word to me late tonight in regard to his position on all of this. He said that he had made the decision to part the ways, that it was done shortly after the hearing in California early in the week, that there is no deal between him and Howard K. Stern, that they still continue to be adversaries.
