I’m working on my blog.
Ugh, it’d better not be, I am not ready for next weekend yet.
What happens next weekend?
The anime convention.
We have to take apart our computer setup, including speakers and tuners, pack them up, find room for about six rubbermaid tubs full of wires plus spools of speaker wire and coax, drive it down to the next town, and set it up, as well as setting up the truckload of mics and other speakers and stuff to run a con. And that’s before noon Friday. Heh.
And I have to finishing checking all the video files to make sure they’ll play right or we’ll have three rooms full of really unhappy convention goers.
*And* we discovered this weekend that we had made room reservations at the wrong hotel but it looks like we can get in ok.
That’l learn ya to bug me to make reservations :P

It was a nice day for a ride!
So was Saturday, for that matter! ;-)
But I hate Mondays.
By the way, the repair place said I could bring my van by tomorrow to be looked at. I can drop it off early before work, I guess, and ride from there...but I could use a ride in the afternoon if it doesn’t have to be in the shop overnight.
I should probably also scope out that section of Capital tonight...some parts are off-limits for bikes, or at least not very friendly. I can always walk on the sidewalk a little way if it isn’t far...can’t remember how far up it is from Israel.

You know how it is, with any kind of organization...you might not hang out with them constantly but over the years you cross paths with them so frequently that you get to know them well? That’s how it is with this family. Especially the mother, because that’s who I encounter most...at meetings, at events...
