The entire staff should be fired.
They were told to keep quiet.

"two sixth graders completed the act of intercourse..."
There would've been serious repercussions if they had enjoyed a fag afterwards.

You cannot be serious? The teachers shouldn't be running to the press anyway. It's between the principal, the teacher, the students and their parents. NO ONE ELSE.

"Swensson says the students involved were recommended for expulsion." seems fair enough to me.
And shouting this from the roof tops helps who? I'd hate to have the media circus at my school...

The entire staff should be fired. Huh? why?
How is it the business of the newspaper? Why not protect the privacy of the kids and families and let them deal with it?
Reporters may want the sexy salacious story, but they don't have a right to it.

There were at least 10 other kids in the class. It was going to come out sooner or later.
It is really pretty amazing that it was able to kept under wraps this long.
It sounds to me like a parent wrote to the reporters not a staff member.

As well they should keep quiet....
What if , god forbid, your kid or someone you know had been involved? Would you want the teachers to have a 6pm interview on Hardcopy?
