Uh... wait a minute:

...the teacher didn't know what was going on because another student acted as a "look-out." But once the teacher discovered the behavior, immediate action was taken. Swensson says the students involved were recommended for expulsion.

So... what's the story? What was supposed to have happened? The teacher discovered it and intervened.

The journalist is just mad because they didn't turn around and call the newspaper. Well... I wouldn't either.

You are right.

It absolutely should have been handled behind closed doors with the teacher, the priciple, the students involved and their parents.

No way this should be national news. They did the right thing by handling it privately.

Thats called taking responsibility and handling things yourself instead of calling on the press and the gummit to fix it.

In our school district, teachers are not supposed to leave the room unattended if there are students in the classroom. It still happens but for a teacher to be gone long enough and often enough for kids to have sex? There's a problem.

There was no mention in the article if the parents, of those who had children in the class, were notified.

I certainly hope so.

I am certainly glad that Channel 13 is doing its job.

The public should be informed about the wonderful government school "socialization" that is going on in institution.

Parents and citizens should get all the information they need to determine if they really do want their children to go these government schools, or if they continue to want their tax dollars paying for this degeneracy.

You're probably right.
It appears the school probably dealt directly with the families.

It would seem though that there should have at least been a call to DSS as these are minors.
