What is lost or gained culturally by this show is irrelevant.
I don't think the human brain can comprehend how much money this show has made for everyone that has been associated with it.
Thats what its all about.

I know Wall has been beneath you before but I didn't think it was over American Idol.

I will never understand the popularity of this show, sadly.Me either. But for better or worse AI is part of our culture now.
