Well, if March is going to come in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb, which I prefer. I hate it when it gets warm early and then it gets cold again for an extended period.
We are trying to figure out when we will see "Amazing Grace" this weekend. I think we are going to shoot for Saturday afternoon.

This cound bring an additional... Could...
Coffee, coffee, coffee....
Our world traveling daughter is back in France after being in Italy for a week. She went to the Duomo, or Cathedral, in the Vatican, for Mass on Ash Wednesday, and then onto St. Peter's Basilica, and toured the Vatican.
What a place to be for the beginning of Lent.
I am so proud of her, and very much in awe.

Unfortunately it did kill one US soldier.

Remember several years ago when my daughter went to Europe? It was the summer of 2002, and it took a LOT of faith for me to let her go. I was proud of my daughter, too.
I am really hoping we can get to Rome next summer. That is where we are going to target our next savings project.

Thanks for the stoory, mware! Gosh, it looks like they had a close call. My concern would be the breech of security that let the Taliban know that Cheney was going to be there.

That would be wonderful.
We too would like to get to Europe, but it may be awhile. With one finishing college in a year, and another starting, things are going to be interesting financially.

Oh Mozie! I don't like hearing your news!!
Prayers that all will be well, dear one!
Ya know.......It's true........cardiology has come a long way. Treatment and meds can help a heart a lot.

I hear you. That is sort of where we were a few years ago. We were still paying for college when we had to fund a wedding!
Things have improved a bit for us financially so we are taking part of our savings and using it for trips. This year is Florida. Next year Rome.
Next year Monsigneur Mark from our church will meet interested people in Rome and give them a personal tour, including places within the Vatican that he knows about (since he taught at the North American Pontifical College). THAT is why we are shooting for Rome next year.

What a delightful experience that should be.
You will have to tell us all about it.
Carolyn also visited the Roman Coliseum.
She said it was stunning to see how this place, now in ruins, was the seat of Roman power at one time. At the same time Christianity, which was under heavy persecution of Rome, flourishes to this day.

My Dad brought home some beautiful slides from his Vatican visit. (Shore leave.) Don't think photography is allowed inside. He must have had 400 film in his camera.....My Dad, the Chaplain, cheated!
;o)
Anyway, those slides were MORE than awe inspiring.
Know you will enjoy that trip.

Hate to bring this up but it is warm, no wind, rooster(s) crowing. Good morning!

Mozie, I'll be thinking of you and praying this morning for you. Cardiology has certainly come a long way...for instance, several years ago, the doctors for my brother (who had been through basic training and a year of combat in Vietnam) discovered he had a hole in his heart, a congenital defect and not a combat injury.
The surgeons used instruments to go through a leg vein up to the heart and repaired it! I understand now that it's a standard procedure, but I'll never understand how they can do such wondrous things!

OK, that does it, send a message to them that they have messed up now and drop everything we have on them, REGARDLESS of where they are. The 'political correctness' has gone to far.

Prayers for you dear MozartLover...Wait and hear what the cardiologist says, and like the others posted, there's much being learned these days about the heart.
I understand the consternation this surprise discovery has caused you, tho.(((((MozartLover)))))

Morning Toby!
Mozie... prayers sent your way.
I just heard on the news that Scooter Libby's case has been dismissed?
Is that true?
