Microsoft releases the latest edition of Virtual PC
Microsoft has released Virtual PC 2007 1.0 to customers. The program allows Windows users to run multiple operating systems at once from a single physical computer. Users can also easily switch back and forth between operating systems with the click of a mouse.
New features included with the latest release of Microsoft Virtual PC include:
The following operating systems are officially supported on host machines:
The following operating systems are officially supported as guests:
There is also unofficial support for MS DOS 6.22, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.
Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 is available as a free download in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. You can view the release notes for the software application here.
Not if they weren't even buying Vista to begin with, duh!
I go on occasion, but I have sufficient protection if not a disposable VM. Other less protected users should beware links to hacker related websites, especially those with skull and crossbones blazen across the top. My own website has a malware section with a rotating Jolly Roger at the top itself, but that is typically a symbol used for warning, and users should use extreme caution whenever seeing it. Your flippant attitude and endless support of hackers is nauseating.
Oh the horror! A company dominating it's market gave one of its products away for free! Where's Janet Reno when you really need her to launch an antitrust trial! /SARCASM
I will always support hackers. They are the reason computer technology is as advanced as it is now. Steve Wozniak is still my favorite hacker of all time.
The determination of monopoly abuse is far more involved than a simple sarcastic statement. In any case, Microsoft's statement at the time was that their free VM software was not in response to VMWare's free license, but because they were planning to ingrain virtualization in "Longhorn" anyway. And it looks like that will be in Vista server.
And I assume you were talking about Explorer/Netscape. In that case, Microsoft's stated goal was to "cut off Netscape's air supply." That is a reason Microsoft got into trouble.
No kidding, like you've endlessly supported the Russian hackers that illegally hacked Apple's OSX.
Steve Wozniak is still my favorite hacker of all time.
Well you can keep dreaming you're back in the 70's and 80's but the word "hacker" generally has a different connotation now after so many started doing illegal things. Even the Woz admits that people quote "think of hackers as terrorists" now. You may not like it, but supporting "hackers" in today's society as you constantly do properly draws some scorn, especially when you start making up lies to defend some of the Russians like you've been known to do.
That's why those of us who know anything about security generally use the hats to differentiate them. You think they're all black.
especially when you start making up lies to defend some of the Russians like you've been known to do.
Are you about to go on a long rant of lies again to remind everyone that you failed my little test? Every time you do that I get to post a list of false statements that you make and do not retract when confronted with the facts.
BS, here's what you said on your very last post, quote "I will always support hackers." Hang on everybody, she's about to blow! When the dam of lies breaks with this cat, there is no safe ground. Prepare for deluge, especially since I brought up the lies he's already outright admitted to making up on behalf of Russian hackers.
Check it out!!!,download the ISO's and VM's from here
pretty! ;)
Yes I do. And I've previously explained what I think a hacker is, even using Wozniak as an example then, too, in order to put the word in proper context. So you can't claim confusion or ignorance in saying I support malicious hackers. You knew what I was talking about, yet you tried to confuse it to create a personal attack.
especially since I brought up the lies he's already outright admitted to making up
Now I admitted again? Previously you said you caught me. Which is it? I guess it's again time for another long list of your lies, with you ruining yet another thread.
Have you tried Minix 3.0?
Yep, I was right. You deliberately took my post out of context in order to launch a personal attack.
Just your style.
no... any good?
I didn't take anything out of context, your own example Wozniak admits people now equate the word hacker with "terrorists". If it bugs you too bad, it's not going to change nor is your endless support of illegal hacking going to go unchallenged.
I rip the labels off my pillows and mattresses just to spite the man. ;)
It's not reallyhacking if it's something you own. Hacking is more about accessing something someone else owns without their permission. I would call what you did a "mod".
Well... IF I bought a "legal copy" of Apple OSX I legally couldn't "mod" it to work with my PC even though I paid for it...
to me, that's kind of strange...
btw, I have no need for osx, but some people with PC's would like to have it.
Honestly, I've thought the same thing and I love VMWare Server. I wish they offered a truly desktop version of the same thing. As it is, it is more of a product for development houses. Then again, VirtualBox is pretty good and is open source (actually dual-licensed).
