In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the “word of the day”; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today. Tomorrow I’m bringing in chains, so beware.

The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. I’m just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words “as if” can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

My dad is treating the family -- siblings and children -- to dinner at a little local Italian restaurant called Marco's. It is a mom and pop establishment; the owner actually has two restaurants in the area. It is a very good place to eat -- much better than the chains like Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden, and very reasonably priced.

Well, it is only Tuesday... let's see if you can retain the amicable part for the rest of the week. Then we'll throw a party... xsmommy's credit card should suffice.

I feel kind of funny stating my reason for not being around much on Friday.........Thursday is our 10th anniversary and we have plans on Friday.

But since it's Xs' credit card, I might reconsider :)

Party's on me. Of course it will stay amicable. There is nothing left to fight about. The kids are upset that that we talk so much. They can't play one off against the other.
