NBA Commissioner: We told him [Hardaway] he couldn't do anymore work for us
Undated - Former NBA All Star Tim Hardaway is apologizing for comments he made recently on a radio program in Miami.
Hardaway said quote, "I hate gay people. Let it be known, I don't like gay people."
The NBA has banned Hardaway from this weekend's All-Star game festivities in Las Vegas.

I'm going to assume that Hardaway has either no publicist or the worst publicist in the business.

I never realized that poofters are an important part of the NBA's target demographic.

I have no use for the NBA anyways. Haven't watched a game in at least ten years.

yea- I thought that was what the WNBA was for

As well he should. Saying "I hate gay people" was insanely stupid. It's bad for business, and the NBA exists in order to make money. End of story. In the future, he should think before he makes statements that could hurt his employer's bottom line.

The NBA can do as they wish but he should be remanded to a federal reeducation hospital and chemically tortured until he confesses his sins, repents and takes a gay lover.

I'd like to see an anonymous poll of NBA players. I bet 85% of them agree with Hardaway. But the sanctimonious suits that run the league and who need the libs in the MSM to sell their product will offer up Hardaway in order to placate a perverted 2% minority which defines itself by what it does with its penis. Do they really think being a gay-friendly league will get them more fans? Personally I think the NBA is a thug-and-poser league and I can't even recall the last time I watched a game.

Hardaway is a perfect example of free speech for me, but not for thee. I remember (before political correctness) being able to speak my mind at anytime. Now, I have to mind my mouth or be accused of hate speech. And, I know that hate thoughts wiil be next on the liberal agenda.

He could speak his mind all he wants. The NBA is under no obligation to employ him.

Given the number of homosexuals in NYC, I don't think he'd want to be there anyways.

We are told that homosexuals are not attracted to heterosexuals. That there is no reason to be nervous about undressing in the locker room around a homosexual. But it still doesn't explain why around the world cellphones are being banned in locker rooms because of voyeurs who used their cellphones to shoot photos of members of the same sex undressing.
