Two pit bull dogs ripped off a man's left hand and badly mauled his right arm before other people were able to beat the dogs away.

"I couldn't believe I wasn't dead," James Chapple said from his hospital bed. "I'm going to church every day when I get out of here and talk to the man upstairs."

Of course it is the owner, not the breed, but it is a breed that is exploited by owners who place a higher value on their own possessions (often drugs) than on human life. I know a man who has a pit bull that is a perfectly trained, wonderful dog that he takes to work with him most days, but he never lets the dog out of his sight when people are around because it's a pit bull.

So very welcome. I love your webpage. When they were babies we use to take the in the canoe. Too big now.

Sad thing is I can not let them in the house anymore. It is to warm for them (I am freezing) plus they trash the place. They run around looking for all their old "places" that they can not fit into now and try their best.......it was getting too expensive :)

They LOVE the snow. As cold as it has been, they refuse to sleep in their houses...right on the ground in the snow. Drives me crazy, but they are what they are!

Wonderful,loving family pets, every one of them.

The opportunity to be sarcastic should not blind us to the facts.
These dogs were not family pets.
They were being used as guard dogs.

Dogs are the product of Breeding and the people who own them...Yes Dogs can pick up Biases that the owner has{ I have heard of people who hated blacks whose dog sensed that and hated them also}
Dogs are very keen on what their owners like and dislike.
Added fact: Some dogs can be trained to sense when a person is about to have a seizure.one breed is better at than most, but I cant remember what breed it was.
I love All dogs...and will give them more of a chance before most people,
