Two pit bull dogs ripped off a man's left hand and badly mauled his right arm before other people were able to beat the dogs away.
"I couldn't believe I wasn't dead," James Chapple said from his hospital bed. "I'm going to church every day when I get out of here and talk to the man upstairs."

I hope the owners of these gentle animals have reallllly good insurance.
Owner should go to jail. If you properly handle Pit Bulls they can be , and usually are, well behaved. If you train them to be violent watch dogs you need to suffer the consequences when tragic things happen.
Always, always have a pistol handy. OK, I guess I shouldn't have said "handy", maybe "nearby".
Go back and find the original pair of Pit bulls and euthanize them. OK, that was tongue in cheek, but any breed that consistently mauls people should not be tolerated, and make no mistake, these dogs are bred to be killers.
These dogs and all other killer dog breads need to be banned.

Someone is about to get sued, big time.
Considering he lost his left arm. I saw him on the local news tonight. He looks like he's been through hell. He was extremely lucky two people stopped and got those animals off of him. Those dogs need to be killed. They've tasted blood and that makes them even more dangerous. It makes you want to take a hammer on a walk. If you have one, aim for the head and keep swinging until the dog doesn't move. Then finish it off.
What are the killer dog breeds?
Rottweilers, German Shephards, Doberman Pinscher's, Pitt Bull and Poodles (because they are ugly).
