Scary - I've been following crime stories for so long that I predicted what Dr Wecht would say about Anna Nicole's death - and this morning, he said it!
He had been paid by HKS/ANS to do the private autopsy on Daniel. He attributed Daniel's death to the drug interaction of the anti-depressants and the methadone - AND stated that there was a cardiac condition that *may* have pre-disposed him to have this reaction.
So, I said yesterday or the day before that I bet Cyril Wecht will say that the heart condition Daniel had was genetic and that Anna Nicole had it first and passed it along to him.
Sure enough, he said that today! He explained how this "disrhythmia" *could* cause the heart to misfire when these uppers and downers were mixed, in less than lethal doses.
I thought it odd that Daniel had been in the hospital in CA for a "stomach flu" and elevated heart rate a few weeks before he went to The Bahamas and died in Anna Nicole's hospital room - and then Anna Nicole was said to have been suffering from "stomach flu" in the days before *she* died.
I noticed that parallel also. IIRC, he had a fever when he was with his mother and the new baby at the hospital.
I would think it had more to do with the same drugs and how overuse affects the body in a similar manner... and perhaps HKS would recognize the same symptoms as occured in Daniel and taken action. Word has it she was doing shooters only hours before she died. Shooters with all those drugs? How many have a heart that can deal with that stress?
