Any normal person would have used the hotel phone to call 9-11 or dial "0" immediately when Brigitte found Anna "not breathing". Was Brigitte there to make sure that Taz wasn't close to Anna and more or less steered her away from calling the desk?

Was something wrong with the phone? Was that Brigitte's job before she left the room....to plug the phone back in??

Howard MUST have GPS on his car. Even if he had it off, some systems are still trackable.

Did Howard purchase any "throw away" phones recently?? Was the one in the closet a "throw away"?

This Brigitte character seems to be the one who was on "death watch". When she was certain she was dead, she called Taz.

I did a google on the hotel and saw where there are, IIRC, four phones to a suite.
