The one thing that makes the odds of the two deaths astronomical even occurring is the 2 hour period from the time they laid down to rest until the time of death.The fact that the FIRST thing that Howard did was check Daniel's neck pulse was that he was checking if he was dead not if he was sleeping soundly. "Daniel, Daniel...wake up...come on Daniel" would have been normal together with shaking him.

I can imagine Howard telling Anna to be careful what she said because if they think YOU had any part in this, even accidental, you will lose the baby.

I find checking the pulse in his neck very suspicious, almost as if he knew he should be dead by then and was checking the carotid to make certain.
