I agree with you. Vergie should get the body. Howard kept stressing that she wanted to be buried near her son. It's the ONLY reason that the guardian made the decision. It's called a conflict. Look at it this way. Your brother dies. You're 10 years old. Your mother dies a few months later. If a judge asked you where you thought your mother should be buried, what would you say?? Near my brother...of course. The problem is that Daniel is buried in the Bahamas in the first place.

I think the judge was tortured by the fact that he felt he should rule that she be buried with Daniel. He knew he should be ruling for Virgie, but couldn't get past that issue. I understand why he made this decision, but I feel Virgie and her lawyers should have shouted to the rooftops that they intended to exhume Daniel and bring him to Texas with ANS for burial.
