Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Perper's conduct has been very unprofessional-the constant teases about the conclusion, the veiled inferences about the conclusion and the changing stories about why he is delaying his report.
Perper has made himself part of the story.
His presence at the gravesite was surreal.
Early on he said that Stern and the entourage had been very helpful in giving him background info-so, add naivete to his resume.
Perper looks like he could be someone's very nice and very elderly grandpa, but, he doesn't act like a savvy forensic sleuth ala Dr Baden.
A lot of the final conclusion, absent the tox screen and the slides sent out to other labs, will depend on Perper's own interpretation of the physical evidence on the post.
I will not be surprised if there are more questions raised than answered with Perper's work.
I have no confidence in the man based solely on his odd public behavior over the last month.

right they hid that baby in the hotel while the EMS were there and then somebody spirited it away to the boat - probably Bridget and the King - remember Bridget was there -she grabbed that baby and headed for the boat IMO

Thanks for that post - yes - Virgil was fired or dismissed after she made that statement and if not mistaken the Bahamian government totally redid their office that would have been doing that investigation. (More Bahamian corruption????)

But there is still the inquest scheduled - but not til March 27. My bet is something will delay that again also. Which is in itself a total outrage!

In the website that is now closed - the one - ishowardsternamurder.com (I think) - I spent some time going through the linked petition where people from all over the world signed up - 95% of them believed the baby is in danger and needs to be removed from Stern's care - until the DNA test is done, etc......and MOST OF THEM BELIEVED STERN IS A DANGEROUS MAN AND THAT THE BAHAMIAN GOVERNMENT SHOULD DO ITS DUTY AND GET THAT BABY AWAY FROM STERN.....

MANY also said they would boycott the Bahamas until and unless the Bahamian government "did the right thing" and placed the baby in safe care - away from Stern.

Yeah, but the baby being there explains so many things. Some of the timeline mess, where HKS went instead of going to the hospital, why the boat HAD to leave on Friday morn (as Tony said......and that is the first time I've hear that)

Here's an article about the baby possibly being with them that I saw the other night while looking for something else..........

The speculation was that she didn't want to have the baby DNA tested - so she left her little baby girl in the Bahamas when she made the trip. But Star Magazine will report this week that a source claimed that Dannielynn was with Anna Nicole when she died.

Star reports that immediately after Anna Nicole’s death, media outlets reporter that her 5-month old daughter had been in the Bahamas the day her mother passed away. But that may not be the case.

Another source tells Star exclusively, “I have heard Dannielynn was at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with Anna and Howard – and that when Howard received the panicked phone call about Anna being stricken, he orchestrated having the baby and a nurse removed immediately from the hotel, sending them out on a flight back to Nassau!”

Star also gives this blow-by-blow from the website: It was 1:38 p.m. on Feb. 8 when Anna Nicole Smith’s private nurse, Tasma Brighthaupt, discovered the blonde bombshell collapsed in Suite 607 of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Brighthaupt immediately called a hotel operator to report that Smith was in dire need of help.

The nurse also called Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole’s lawyer and lover, who was 20 minutes away checking out a yacht that he and Smith were in the process of buying. They planned to call the boat Cracker, Anna’s pet name for her deceased son, Daniel. Yet it wasn’t until just before 1:45 p.m., almost seven minutes after Smith was discovered, that someone finally called 911.

So -why the delay? Was Dannielynn really in Florida
