Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

But Anna could've fought off Taz if she had to and escape. See i'm working under the supposition that this constant 24/7 vigilance around Anna was more captivity than protection.

What is so odd is how Anna's side of the family has been dissected in the media, but nothing - unless I have missed it - about HKS's family; high school buddies, if any; college roommates. There should be something about him in the California Who's Who of Lawyers.

I'm still reeling from the story about Moe and Tas picking Brigitte and King Eric up at the airport - and that no one ever mentioned it until yesterday.

It just doesn't fit. Anyway, *assuming* Brigitte, sans King Eric, wherever he was since it apparently wasn't with HKS or in the suite, was out in the living room when Moe left Tas in charge of Anna (why not "Tas and Brigitte"?), Moe must have felt that Brigitte was an HKS spy and would tell on him for leaving.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida (CNN) -- The Broward County medical examiner wants to examine a computer that belonged to Anna Nicole Smith before announcing her cause of death, a spokesman for the county state attorney's office said.

On Thursday, Medical Examiner Joshua Perper announced that he would need more time -- up to two weeks -- before he could issue a final declaration.

"(There is a) new piece of evidence which has to be obtained and evaluated, and it might change some of my conclusions," Perper said. "And therefore I decided to wait another week or two, until this evidence is going to be available and is going to be evaluated and eventually submitted to us." (Watch Smith's funeral )

At the point that only Brigitte and Taz were left, Anna was obviously "on her way out" and couldn't fight anyone. Mo said he saw Anna earlier, before breakfast, I think but not before he left for the errand.

Howard would have been giving the orders at that time with a: "Anna's fine. The girls will take care of her." I think Howard WANTED to implicate Mo....And that's why Mo never mentioned Brigitte. Howard made it "Hey, you and your wife were there. What the hell happened".

Kinda like the Daniel, Anna bed scene. "Geez, you were right by him. What did you do?"

Howard's a real crud and I hope his a** winds up in jail for the rest of his life.

I remember one thing that Brigitte said in an interview: "She passed peacefully".

I think that he may be going for suicide. If they can get proof that she had written things about being depressed then manner of death can be suicide. If the things she wrote were happy and upbeat then the focus would be on homicide.
