Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I certainly do know that.
I said he had flu-like symptoms and thought that he would get well. I'm aware that he didn't realize he had pneumococcal pneumonia and therefore, he didn't seek treatment. That's the sad part...apparently he could have been helped.
hmmmm....that link says a nurse was with Anna when she started having "difficulty" and the nurse called Memorial Hosp., direct. Then, a bodyguard came in and started CPR and the nurse called the front desk.....my head is spinning...
Stern's in a heap of trouble.
Anna could have had a very successful career entirely on her own. But pulling a 'reverse John Kerry' back in 1994 proved to be fatal mistake. While John Kerry adjusted very well to unearned untold billions, Anna couldn't.

I'm worried for the safety of the baby...especially if it turns out this is not Stern's child.

Birkwood has gotten a whole bunch of grief by some people but I really think he believes the child is his and I can't imagine what he's having to deal with tonight. I haven't been watching TV but just from the internet and talking to people it seems that everyone is suspecting HKS.
She looked like she had lost a lot of weight again maybe for another career move, and there is a nasty Flu bug going around the State. She certainly looked ill in those Videos that I saw from two days ago. She was tipsy like she was drunk, or stoned, and she was smiling, laughing appearing to have a good old time. Most other pictures of her and quotes from her friends say she was very unhappy.
Hmm, quite sorrowful this dread news. My heart does go out to her and I hope she made peace with God before death or at least after. One thing I have found out is that God's forgiveness is quite surprising to my simplistic mind.
If I was the grandma, I'd be hoofing it to The Bahamas with an attorney, STAT!
