Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

We can now end this thread....you summed it up perfectly...I didn't know much about this woman...but could tell she was unhappy and was looking for peace in things that can only bring pain...especially to a person that can't handle it all...she was fragile no matter what she showed on the outside...i really do feel sorry for her and this innocent child.
So was Christina Onassis. A shame.

Because every child orphaned at an early age wonders whether somehow they were to blame. They grow up wondering what their birth mother was like, whether she was like them, whether she loved them, and in some cases, whether what happened to her will happen to them, too.

Did you ever watch the Anna Nicole Show? I did, and so his turning the pages in the magazine for her is not surprising to me at all.

I was wondering why she had a nurse to begin with,,,,
I can't help but believe that old guy's family is behind both her death, and her son. We are talking billions and billions of dollars, and the family of the old guy honestly believes right or wrong, that she stole the inheritance. If I was in their shoes I'd want her dead too as cruel as it may be.
The entire story reads like a perfectly executed plan once you take a step back and look at it. She couldn't be straight up killed because her eldest son would get the fortune, so he is killed first. With him out of the way she is right for the taking, and it was done. I just hope someone has that little baby in hiding. Since the baby is far from 18 and legally the old man has other surviving relatives, so I'd say their fortune is now safe.
I have and it's like watching a train wreck!
