Issue with Windows Defender Update

I have been having a recurring problem with this Windows Update for the last few months. No matter how many times I accept the update, install it, it always "returns" at another time. If I uncheck and then check "do not notify me about this update again", it still returns anyway. Has anyone else had an issue with this?

Maybe I would just be better off to uninstall Windows Defender?

But it's the same update continuously. I recognize the name. IOW, it never upgrades.
