The bar tells a different story and claims he didn’t order anything at all.

Um, you can't forcibly eject people from your place of business for not buying anything.

Pretty weak defense by the bar.

Yes, you most certainly can. The bar is private property.

While I don't agree with what the bar did and it doesn't appear racial--I thought that establishments reserved the right to refuse service to anyone.

On the other hand, he wasn't asking for service--he wanted non-service. Ok. I'm confusing myself here lol!

I just went to Home Depot and left without buying anything. Fortunately, they didn't throw me up against the door requiring me to get 12 stitches.

The restaurant was way out of line here!
