Nope but I watch a lot of informational TV. They seem to be doing a lot of shows on prison life these days on Discovery, Nat. Geographic, TLC, etc. Prison overcrowding is prevalent, unless you're in Supermax you don't rate an individual cell. Look at CA, they are trying to ship off thousands of inmates to out of state facilities and are being fought by the corrections unions. You don't know that he wasn't offered segregated housing and he turned it down due to the extreme psychological effects of being isolated for 23 hours a day. And how do you know about prisons being different?? Been in one??? I couldn't help but impugn your character as you did mine.

Nope I have not been in one. But I have prison guards in my family. Depending on what prison you are in they are all different....Take Allenwood which is a federal prison in Pa. Its like you posted. Yet Danbury is different depending on the area you are in. The old part is way different. Then you have a state prison like Rahway in NJ. Very old etc...... If these border agents aren't a threat then a place like Allenwood would seem to be more reasonable place for them IMO. Less violence etc , my cousin works there and his brother works in Danbury.

As far as your comment...I couldn't help but impugn your character as you did mine.

You are doing enough to your character then my little comment did. Have a nice night Rednesss. I am glad to have met you....~~Pandora~~

Hey Red... You forgot to answer my question...So I will ask you again....If sex offenders are not in general prison population then why can't the border agents be placed in a protective area too? I would think that being in law enforcement that they would know that they would be beaten up and maybe killed. I really doubt they would want to be in general prison population. I would think their lawyers would have demanded that their clients be protected or maybe that is against the rules for these men?....... Thanks ~~P~~
