OPINION: There are many strong people in our society doing stuff for our country that no one will ever see and no will ever read about.

Hollywood is more a part of France then it is of the USA. I only live about 40 miles from all those fruitcakes and I'm ashamed of them.

I thank God we still have states like Texas.

I think that a New Texas Movie Industry should stereotype HOLLYWOOD as the stupid, babykilling, hippie, homosexual, uneducated, socialist, NAZI, propagandist, terror mongering, surrendering/white flag people of the greatest country to ever exist...

It wouldn't be a stereotype or an exaggeration, it would be the truth.

I was a cop in Texas, too, and I know not all foiks in Texas are hicks.

Course, that's cause some of us came from up north. :-)

As a matter of fact, I thought that Texans should make an equal film set of the HOLLYWOOD set.

It's been done.

"not all foiks in Texas are hicks."

I was raised for about 15 years on a ranch... rode horses every day during that time.... but, I'm still not a freaking hick.... as a matter of fact, I hate country music like a plague... (maybe it's because it was forced upon me by my self bitchous(selfish, goldigger) mother)....
I like most types of music, except for country (exceptions), opra, enka, and jazz....

***Sheriff Buford Pusser fought a local crime ring (alcohol and gambling) ****

Years ago, One of my supervisors had kin in that area. They said Buford Pusser fought the local crime gangs because he was not geting enough of the "take".

You are correct Mr. Japan. Buford was sheriff in McNary County Tennessee. Coincidently the same area that former Governor Blanton was from (for what its worth). I actually saw Buford speaking at a church in Forest, Mississippi back around 1972-1974 ... Big guy and he had that stick with him. We could use a few more in America like Buford.

No need to duck from me ;) I never said, "we are the best".... There are good people in every state (and country for that matter)... the only problem is that not enough are standing up for what's right. I shouldn't be talking since I am on the opposite side of the world... but someone has to say something :P

LOL! True. I really did like Texas, though, and the folks are great.

Spent 10 months in Japan, too, way back in 1975. The Japanese community near Detroit is small and quite tight knit. Trying to break in as a business lawyer among that community and wish I could remember a bit more of the language.

By the way, I'm a bit confused. Wasn't the real Buford Pusser from Tennessee? Or is Walking Tall II about a different person?

I don't know how my post ended up in the wrong post... but I'll post it again >.<

"Buford was sheriff in McNary County Tennessee"

The original Walking Tall series was about sheriff Buford... the 'remake' is totally fiction :/
