Java comes from Sun, use Solaris not Linux.

I heard that Windows Vista can't support Java...

Typical FUD, use Windows or Solaris, .NET and JAVA are the way to go if not both. Forget clones like JBOSS and MONO.

Java comes from Sun, but runs on just about any OS including Linux and Windows.
