We still have Jake, although his is 13 which is an advanced age for a Corgi.

Ah, another handsome devil. I certainly wish they'd devote some effort towards a longevity gene for dogs and cats. I swore after Taffy that I was going to get a green parrot, teach him to cuss like a sailor, and will him to one of my young nieces so I wouldn't have to grieve for another animal- and now, we have one puppy and another old dog. Never say "never."
