Since I downloaded Internet Explorer 7, my computer is sometimes slow, even with my cable modem.

What is the best alternative to Internet Explorer? Is it easy to download?

I downloaded IE 7 and had all kinds of problems. I uninstalled it and the problems disappeared. The tabbed browsing is nice but not worth the problems. I will wait until they solve the problems.

I uninstalled IE-7 on mine and it defaulted back to IE-6. I didn't care for IE-7 layout one bit. What is likely stalling you down is the tools that came with it. On dial-up it's a dog upgrade I don't recommend.
