Posh says she's no L. Ron hugger

Victoria Beckham is telling pals she has no intention of joining the Church of Scientology, despite her close friendship with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

"There's no way I'd spend any money on that nonsense," she told a friend recently about the faith founded by author L. Ron Hubbard.

Says another pal: "It's completely laughable that there's even talk of her becoming a Scientologist. Just because people are friends with someone doesn't mean they do everything they do. Scientology is like kabbala in that it's become all about money. Kabbala bracelets are now $28! It's a joke." In July, "Posh Spice" and her husband, David Beckham, are moving to California, where he scored a reported five-year, $250 million contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team. None of which will be used to ward off thetans or Xenu, the evil space emperor central to Scientology doctrine.

As the pal puts it: "Scientology is an expensive religion; Victoria is too cheap to convert."

I'm convinced that once you get into the upper echelon of Scientology, they finally admit to you that their whole routine is just a hoax to rope in the suckers, it's all really about money, and you will now start getting your cut.

“Well, my respect at her intelligence has just went way up! Good she sees the truth!”

If true, me too.

While showing her the ridiculousness of the alien cult, maybe Posh can convince poor Katie to gain a few pounds too – oh never mind.

While Posh’s supposed statements (and who calls themselves Posh BTW?) make her sound like a down to earth gal, remember what they say about a stopped clock or blind squirrel.

Or they find out about all the celebs dirty secrets (like being gay in the case of Cruise and Travolta) and threaten to reveal them in case they ever leave the cult.
