Every year I swear that I am going to keep things in shape all through the season, but along about August, after Japanese beetles, heat, dry spells, and assorted mildews and such, I just don't have quite the enthusiasm for going out with the heat and the bugs.

I do think that I am going to scale back on potted plants and mulch more this year. Maybe that will help.

I'd be glad to do that, Molly. Some days, there are few really good ones. I've noticed over time that Tuesdays and Fridays are usually good times for interesting articles...unless, of course, there is breaking news.

That's good article, but I'm not sure I made myself clear...I mean posting links here at ATRW is great, but I'm talking about post THREADS on the news side. They really need some good ones over there most mornings...days...

Anyway, think about it. I can help you with learning to do it, if that's needed. It's not hard to learn the posting procedure...cut and paste, minimizing, etc...all skills you probably use already.

I generally post links on the Dawn Patrol part of the thread for folks to have something to read. Your links are always pertinent, interesting, and on the new thread, where the day's links need to be for everyone arriving later.

Yes, that works fine...but really, I'm not talking about that. I feel so STUPID for not writing clearer, but I'm talking about finding articles from outside sources - like you found that Pruden column - and starting NEW threads with them on the News/Activism side, NOT just providing a link to the article on our ATRW thread.

But starting something for the larger FR population.

Local paper reports that the airlines "mistakenly" bleeped God out of the movie Queen. Anybody believe that? LOL
