One of the most disturbing aspects is that this very talented actress and her family either don't understand or don't care how the left is using her to promote their sickening agenda.

"...It's not just the rape scene the whole story is challenging Dakota as an actress..."
Is it just me? Are these people whacked?

Added Sundance as a keyword.

Sundance with the Devil is a very good read

Leave Dakota alone. Her family (who manages her career) approved of this, it's really none of our business.
She's a fine actress, a prodigy. The people protesting this movie haven't even seen it.

The issue of whether a 12 year old should be in this type of movie aside, the director and actress have said there was no "simulated rape scene" and that the man was never on top of her during the filming. The critics should get their facts straight if they want to speak with any credibility. The charges in the article about this being borderline sexual abuse, or something to that effect, are incorrect.

After having read this I can confidently predict, among other things, that this kid will make her first visit to Betty Ford by the age of 16.

Personally, I think for a 12 year old she is an incredibly talented actress and she is destroying herself by making this movie.

But the newest incident has been classified by many observers as more explicit than what was required of Jodie Foster, who as a 12-year-old played a prostitute in "Taxi Driver," Best movie ever.

Hey come on! In the movie, Dakota isn't doing or dressing in any way you can't see hundreds of her contemporaries doing if you go to a local mall. And, obviously, there isn't anything wrong with that since their mothers are right there with them. What a bunch of prudes! Don't you all realize that 12 year olds today are as sophisticated as 16 year olds of a few years ago. Dakota will grow up to be just as normal as any other child actor - like Britney, Lindsay Lohan, etc....

As I recall, the film "pretty Baby" had Drew Barrymore as being initiated into sex/prostitution as a virgin for sale.
I don't remember Barrymore's age but am sure someone will look it up.

I get the feeling that most of the critics also believe that people are actually killed on set during action or disaster movies.

Slippery slope? What slippery slope?
How near is our society to tolerating sex with children? And 'tolerance' remember, as interpreted in contemporary parlance, means forcefully shoving it down the throat of every man, woman and child.
