I really doubt it's the cheapest house in LA, since it actually looks in decent condition. I'm sure there's something that's badly deteriorated and in a similar area that you could get for less.
But I could be wrong. I looked at Watts, zip code 90002, and the cheapest house was $216k. A few years back it was $ 88k, so people who invested in that area seem to have done extremely well.
