Today wasn't a good day for outdoor photography, but this is the first picture of my grandson in his uniform. They grow up much too fast. He was just a baby this time last year!
Get a tailor to fix those pants cuffs. Otherwise we know you are proud of him as you well should be.
The way he is growing none of it will fit for very long, LOL. He has been working out, eats like a starving horse, gonna be a bigger man than his grampa ever was.
There's no way he'll pass an inspection with those pant cuffs.Yes,it might sound silly...but it's true.
"fix those pants cuffs"
hahaha...First thing I noticed...he'll grow...
I know, but the program at the high school has a lot of slack in it. My daughter attended a meeting and was told that hair cuts and other details didn't matter much, she told them that if her son was going to wear the uniform he was going to look like a soldier. One of her nicknames is "military Mary" LOL, she volunteered right out of high school, as did my son in law.
Fair enough.I'm not very familiar with ROTC (Junior or otherwise) so I was going by the regs of the Regular Army. Who knows...he might wind up at West Point! ;-)
Congratulations!! I swell with pride when I see one of America's finest, you should be very proud! You have my heartfelt thanks, admiration and respect for raising a family so willing to serve our great Country! May God richly bless you and your family for your/their service.
Sometimes things scare the crap out of me, I'd always prefer to go myself, but they won't take old farts like me.
His granny is scheduled to do an adjustment on the pants this next Sunday afternoon. I need to get him some real leather shoes, and teach him how to spit shine, the patent leather stuff just doesn't impress me much.
Good looking kid.
Best of everything to him!
Congrats to you & the boy Swamp. Now your job is to make sure he can read a compass, shoot a back azimuth and read a contour map.
Just kidding. Fine looking Lad.
Great pic. Congrats, I know your buttons are bursting! Godspeed.
