Earnhart was a stock car driver who did everything he could to win, even driving dirty. I sure don't see him as anything special. He lost doing what he loved to do, he was a lucky man.

Just like a pilot that dies in a horrendous crash. I've heard and read that any pilot worth his salt would rather go out that way than something stupid as a slip in the bath tub.
Since this is a NASCAR/CMT thread, I included those pix because of the similarity of Dale and Kix. Also, because Dale was in a B&D video.
