The only animal I know to be resistant to venomous snakes is the American opossum, though it's not out of the realm of possiblity for an otter to be as well. And of course venomous snakes are resistant to their own venom.

2. punctuation. absent or messed up

I am a little more familiar with moccasins than you might think. We have a lot of them in east Texas.
