Couple of other notes. Jimmy Johnson is NOT coming back to the Cowboys. He's rich, has a yacht in Miami and a gig on Fox Sports that pays him great for about fifteen hours of work a week. I absolutely do not think Johnson has ANY fire in his belly anymore.
My personal WTF? moment was when Norv Turner was suggested as the next coach.
One of the things I've noticed as coaches and quarterbacks get older, is that they take fewer risks. Vinnie Testaverde was talking about how as you mature as a quarterback, you learn to take what the defense gives you. I also noticed that Vinnie was completing a lot of five yard passes on third and eight. Coaches do the same thing. They get more conservative, and eventually they end up losing games because they get predictable.
