Exactly. But I will watch because I love football. I just don't have a good hook -- love/hate -- either one of these teams. Although, it sure seemed that Manning was doing a lot of the "me me me" thing. But it was reported out of context so I'm not even sure of that.

Apparently my feeling this way put dleecomeback07's knickers all in a twit. Maybe he'll tell me which team he's pulling for so then I'll have a reason to pull against that team.

For some reason, the Bee's_knees part of the link didn't take. Oh well.

Does God give a crap about bloody football game?

You are *obviously* not a Texan. :-D

Don't you know why there's a hole in the roof of Texas Stadium?

So God can watch the Cowboys play!

So I speak from experience when I say, Baltimore fans are the worst. .

Spoken like a true homer. Irsay and Indy deserve each other.

[Irsay and Indy deserve each other.]

Again, I expect nothing less than vitriolic hate. Keep it up. Prove my point to all the posters here.

Indy is 179 miles south of Chicago on I-65 ... Chicago's Soldiers Field is open to the elements. Cincinnati 110 miles southeast of Indy has an open football stadium as does St. Louis 240 miles to the west. So why does Indy need the RCA dome? Yesterdays game between da Bears and New Orleans at Soldiers Field was classic old fashioned football. The game between the Colts and New England seemed sterile in contrast, played in optimum conditions (actually to warm on the playing field) at the RCA dome. Give me old fashioned football any day ... it's the real deal.

I love outdoor stadiums. There is nothing better than football on a cool sunny fall day and nothing better than football during a snow storm....take your pick

I thought it was being played in Miami with quarterbacks from the SEC.

Then you will love our new stadium. It is under construction across the street from the dome. The RCA dome is currently the smallest stadium in the league at 62K. The new stadium will have a retractible roof and seat 75K. The main reason for the indoor stadium is the multi-use mileage they get out of all of our facilities here in Indy. The dome has become an extension of our Convention Center in the past 5-7 years. The NCAA Championships have been held there several times, Tennis Matches, Concerts, etc. The dome is to be demolished when the new stadium is built so that the convention center can be expanded.

Besides, when was the last time a superbowl was played outdoors in the northern part of the US? We are hoping to host the 2010 (or 2011) Superbowl.
