This Indian star is drop-dead gorgeous and these British women (among the verbal abusers) are jealous.

Ahh - the feminist canard - good observation.
""This is a racist country," she said in the Guardian newspaper. "There is almost no inter-penetration of English and Indian cultures in Britain.""
Bull. I know a Brit who's happily married to an Indian, and I understand there's been a dramatic jump in Indian-Brit intermarriage over the past few years. These women are (rightfully) threatened by more beautiful, traditional women with the kind of feminine poise and class long lost in the West.
British optometry must be as far along as their dentistry.
British women are very jealous of foreign women because they are being rebuked by British men who have no problem dating and/or marrying Asian, East European, Indian and other women... anything but a high-maintenance domineering British woman.
They are livid that they are being smoked by the competition, that's all. It's just a big catfight, not racism.
"I want Britain to be seen as a country of fairness and tolerance ... and anything that detracts from that, I condemn."
Well, that certainly seems fair, and tolerant.
It isn't just that they are jealous. We caught the first week of the show while we are over there and I've been following it since we got back.
Shilpa is very high and mighty and spoiled. And that came across very quickly on the show. I'm not surprised she rubbed people the wrong way.
That said, Jade Goody is a nasty little thing - I'm happy not to have to be subjected to her on the cover of all the rag magazines and newspapers everyday.
But it's not racism. That much I agree on.
A bunch of fat british cows going after a pretty Indian actress.
Not surprising at the behaviour of these insecure british girls.

Of course Indians are appalled by discrimination, being consumed with the equality found in Hinduism...
